The jail is the direct route for a present county-custody question. The Records Division handles requests for arrest, incident, citation, accident, and related files. Other needs belong with a different official source:
- For a booking record or photo, follow the county request steps and ask Records whether the item exists and is disclosable.
- For a court disposition or case-related warrant question, contact the Washington County Clerk of Court at 319-653-7741.
- For a fresh arrest, call the jail; for a broader published period, consult the Arrested Today and Arrest Reports guides.
- For release or transfer alerts, use Iowa VINE or call 1-888-742-8463.
